What Heavenly Cake at Sugar and Spice Catering! When your guests are still bragging about your delicious wedding cake in two states and four counties for another week after the wedding, You know it was a total culinary delight to enjoy! Of course, when it comes to true confessions, I must admit that when I had my first piece of Sugar and Spice’s Wedding White cake at the showcase, I couldn’t wait for the second piece….so I ate my daughter’s piece too! Then I had her go ask for two more because she needed her own piece of their amazingly delicious cake to savor! Our guests were treated to layers of flavors, such as: Wedding White, Lemon with Raspberry filling, Chocolate on Chocolate, Strawberry with Cream Cheese icing and don’t forget the Red Velvet! We were so happy with their talented creations that we also had them serve their tasty dinner to our guests. Our menu was a great value for a full plate of delicious food: Salad, Glazed Ham, Smoked Turkey, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Southern Style Green Beans, Buttered Corn, Macaroni & Cheese and rolls. Rebecca’s Mac & Cheese had the perfect blend of al dente pasta and cheeses! Their attention to detail for our happiness was exceptional! We were very thankful to have them cater our wedding and we are already planning our next cake order for family birthdays!

S&S has the softest, fluffiest, delicious cake in the KC metro. I can only best describe their cake as “a cloud” - it literally melts in your mouth. I am picky about wedding cake and had 5 different tastings, and S&S was my favorite hands down. They did my sister’s wedding 8 years ago and their cake is just as good now as it was then. My wedding guests raved about the cake and had multiple pieces! ALL of the flavors they offer are to die for. We had 4 different flavors because we just couldn’t decide on 1! Sugar and spice is the best catering service I have ever worked with! Their food is amazing and their staff is the best around! They did our food and cake for our wedding and it was absolutely delicious!

Sugar and Spice are part of the dream team for the KC dream wedding giveaway that my fiancé and I won! We had the announcement Friday and they made a beautiful cake and different sweets! It all was absolutely amazing.. the cake was gorgeous and so yummy. They were so nice when I met them and told me my dream cake they will make it happen on the wedding day! I can’t wait for you guys to be apart of our big day!

Sugar and Spice did a great job at their week1 food menu and ready to bake cookie dough! Rebecca and Katrina were so good to work with during this covid-19 time. Food was amazing as always!

My husband and I choose Sugar and Spice last year for our wedding. It was hard to decide what to have for our buffet because everything was so delicious! We also had Sugar and Spice do our wedding cake. Sampling the cakes was the best part of the day! We ordered cake and cupcakes for everyone in all the flavors because we couldn't decide. They were all so good! Yesterday was our 1st anniversary and we got the wedding cake out of the deep freeze and it still tasted as good as it did a year ago. We were surprised it was still so good. Overall, we would easily use Sugar and Spice again.

Celebration at the office today and our new friends at Sugar and Spice supplied the cake. WOW! You know how sometimes it’s “just a cake”? Dry and the only taste is the frosting? Not here folks! Highly recommend.

We would recommend sugar and spice for catering if you are on a budget. The cake was wonderful and dinner was okay. We were disappointed at the end because there was no food boxed up as a meal for us when leaving the venue, it was only boxed up as a whole tray, so it would have been impossible for us to take to our hotel room that night. We had to stop for McDonald’s after the wedding because we didn’t have time to eat during reception and they didn’t pack us our own box of leftovers. Our top tier of our cake that was supposed to be our anniversary cake was packaged very poorly and still has flowers on it, did not seem like it was prepared correctly to go in the freezer for a year. Overall, the food was okay but disappointed in some of the small details after dinner was served.

Sugar and Spice did great with our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, they were so good about meeting with us and making sure that we got what we wanted on our menu... even a last minute addition of a sheet cake! Their staff was professional and efficient at our reception too.

WOW! Our wedding cake was to die for! Best cake I have ever had in my life. From the very start, Sugar and Spice Catering was so easy to work with and all their staff is so friendly. They respond to questions quickly and professionally. Everything went seamlessly and our wedding cake was everything I ever dreamed! I would definitely recommened their cakes for any event!

Seriously the best cake ever. We've used them numerous times over the years for parties, Easter, showers, you name it and every time they are great to work with. It's by far the best cake I've ever had. So, if you love their wedding cake don't forget you can get it for all your other parties too :)

Thank you for helping make our 50th Wedding Anniversary party a great success. Everything was delicious...especially the three tier cake....mmmmmmmm so good. The presentation was beautiful and the staff was wonderful and very professional. Five Stars all the way.

Sugar & Spice provided our wedding cake nearly eight years ago. Our guests still rave about it to this day. We all agree it was the best cake we have ever enjoyed. Every flavor was delicious and the cake was beautiful. Just came here to get contact info to share and realized I'd never left a review in all these years. Thank you S&S for a truly memorable experience!
